Tash’s Fab Five
Tash’s words – Before I started working at Harper and Blohm in 2017, I was a regular customer. Living locally, I viewed Harper and Blohm as an extension of my own pantry and loved popping in to see what was new and exciting when grabbing my ‘must haves’ or a gift. While my shopping list changes from time to time these items are still on top:
A savoury sunset hued washed rind, with a little funk, coupled with its velvety texture makes it a personal favourite.
A quality product made locally, beautiful flavour and creamy texture. Once considered an indulgence the City Larder Pate has become a staple in my household.
A failsafe textured biscuit that pairs well with many cheeses and something I like to always have on hand.
My fridge is empty without a jar of this, a wonderful accompaniment to cheese but also makes an exceptional glaze for roast lamb.
Made from Buffalo milk in Gippsland, this is a real delight and has been one of my favourites since Olivia said, ‘Hey Tash, have you tried this?’ As a cheesemonger it’s important to try ALL the cheese……..it’s a hard job.
