Quince Paste (aka “membrillo” in Spanish ) has a sweet and natural fruity flavour, that makes it ideal for meat or cheese plates and is paired magnificently with Manchego cheese.
Santa Teresa Quince Paste is a traditional confection made from the pulp of the quince fruit cooked with sugar to create a thick sticky paste. Traditionally from the Iberian Peninsula in Spain, where it is known as ‘dulce de membrillo’, it provides a delicious sweet balance to the savoury flavour of the cheese.
Santa Teresa has been making traditional quince paste for 150 years and uses only fresh quince flesh and non GM organic ingredients.
