La Dame – Barossa Valley Cheese Co 

La Dame is an aged semi hard cheese made in The Barossa Valley from local goats milk. Matured in the Say Cheese Cellars in Adelaide, the texture develops from dense & creamy to slightly flakey, and the flavour combines nutty notes with a caramel finish.

Whilst working as a winemaker in Bordeaux, Victoria McClurg became inspired to be a cheese maker and on returning to Australia opened her cheesery in Angaston in 2003.
