Epoisses AOC 125g – Berthaut

Named after the French village of Epoisses in the Bourgogne region: legend has it that local Cistercian monks created this cheese in the 16th century. The fabulous pungent aroma & sticky wrinkled terracotta rind of this cheese reveals a smooth, rich & velvety texture with a meaty taste that melts in your mouth.

The Berthaut family are responsible for reviving the lost recipe in the 1950’s and bringing this great French cheese back to life.
