Made with organic spring milk ‘Flora Nelle’ is a robust and piquant blue with subtle hints of blueberries and a texture that is creamy on the palate with a classic savoury finish. The natural rind has been dusted in vegetable charcoal which helps keep the cheese moist and sliceable as well as lowering the acidity of the finished product.

A little history about Rogue Creamery

Rogue Creamery was founded in 1933 by the Vella family in Oregon, USA along the banks of the rugged and scenic Rogue River. Tom the original maker of their blue cheeses learnt his trade from the French masters of the Roquefort Association in France in the early 1950’s. Today Rogue Creamery is recognized as one of the most innovative artisan dairies in North American using certified sustainable organic whole milk. Owner David Gremmels is committed to producing handcrafted cheeses using only sustainable techniques - Flora Nelle is named after his grandmother.

Will Studd is a world-renowned cheese expert who has selected a range of cheeses based on their provenance, texture, aroma and flavour.
