Pennyweight Gold is a luscious sweet wine made from selected well-ripened white grapes, fortified with brandy spirit, and aged for approximately 7 years in old oak hogs heads. Incredibly versatile, this can be served in any number of ways - chilled as an aperitif, as a dessert wine, or even dosed up with tonic as a refreshing spritz!
A little history about Pennyweight
Pennyweight Winery is a small traditional winery, owned and operated by the 4th and 5th generation Morris family winemakers. It comprises two certified organic / biodynamic, dry land vineyards situated in the Beechworth and Rutherglen wine regions, located in the High Country of north-east Victoria. They produce a range of solely estate grown table and fortified wines including apera (sherry).
