A little history
Made with only seasonal fruit, this delightful combination of chunky fresh figs and fragrant Earl Grey tea is a shortcut to happiness. With just enough sugar for sweetness, the jam is made for toasted English muffins, topping some French toast as well as with a rich blue cheese or semi-hard goats milk cheese.
From a tiny bungalow in Elwood to now supplying cafes, restaurants, bakeries and grocery stores around Australia, Jam Lady Jams has been winning hearts for over 20 years. What began with bags of fruit delivered to owner Lisa O’Connor to help with her ill health got turned into jars of exotic jams.
‘I'd never made jam before but it completely fulfilled my desires of a creative life. I loved the tenderness of the fruit, it's coming of age, the aromatics and rifling through my spice tins. I came up with some fun names and figured if it sounded good, it would taste good!’
All recipes are made with local, seasonal produce, only Australian sugar and quality spices. No additives, preservatives or pectin is added, resulting in a more natural, genuine taste and feel of fruit.
