This pale-pink sparkling begins with all sweet, summer fruits before a generous mid palate kicks in to balance this initial impression with elegance and poise. The fine persistent beads and a trace of grip on the finish, the wine will please the most discerning lovers of sparkling.
Expect lots of red cherry, rose petal and a compote of other red summer fruits which pairs well with dessert/afternoon tea. Serve well chilled as an aperitif on a warm sunny day.

A little history about

Hesket Estate is a family-owned boutique winery located on Wurundjeri country in the cool climate Macedon Ranges wine region. At 660 m, the estate looks north towards the scenic Cobaw Ranges. Vines were first established in the 1980s and further plantings occurred through the early 1990s, when current owners, the Hudspeth-Stevenson family acquired the property.
The expert winemaking team strive to maintain sustainable practices in the vineyard and winery with modern viticulture techniques. The 2 hectares of vines are hand-pruned and the grapes hand-picked, belying the family’s care, commitment and downright passion.

The wine is named after the family's eldest daughter, Edwina, who has an absolute love of France and particularly Champagne. So, it only seems fitting for a sparkling rosé to be named after her.
