A specialty of Spain’s Basque region, guindillas are pickled peppers and a natural partner to charcuterie.

Guindillas (gin-di-yas) maintain a delightful crunch which is swiftly followed a smack of vinegar and the aroma of ripe green pepper. While you certainly get that initial heat of a pepper, it soon dissolves to a sweet aftertaste.
Guindillas are a staple of pinxtos and tapas menus. Layer up with olives, roasted red peppers and white anchovies on long skewers to create banderillas – perfect with a crisp cold beer.

Goes well with: charcuterie, terrines, Anchovies, hard cheese
