The Rogue River Special Reserve Blue from Rogue Creamery in Central Point, Oregon was named “Best Cheese in the World” last year at the annual World Cheese Awards in Bergamo Italy.

Availability is strictly limited globally so we are very lucky to bring this special cheese to you online and in-store this week. (especially with tricky freight scenarios at the minute)

It’s made for only a few weeks each year during the autumn equinox. Wrapped in local organic handpicked Syrah vine leaves macerated in local organic pear brandy.

The moist and creamy marbled texture has a strong but not overpowering blue mould flavour that finishes with an extraordinary fruity aftertaste and a hint of pear brandy reminiscent of Christmas pudding.
