Grilled cheese sandwiches

This week we will be making grilled cheese sandwiches at #CollingwoodFM & #ElthamFM, filled with local Victorian cheese and the odd seasonal vegetable from other great market stall holders we have got to know. We also use the beautiful Tivoli Road Bakery sourdough bread that we sell in the shop on Saturdays for our  sandwiches.

This weeks Grilled Cheese Sandwiches are:

Barry's Blue - Berrys Creek Mossvale Blue, Langdale Orchards pear, rocket and Boonderoo walnuts

The Classic - Maffra Cheddar, L’artisan Mepunga Gruyere and Raclette with caramelised onion

Welsh Rarebit - Maffra Cheddar with Grand Ridge Hatlifter Stout, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, cayenne pepper and Spring Creek Organics leeks

Raclette

Come and try some melted organic L’artisan Raclette, from South Western Victoria, served over steamed potatoes from Spring Creek Organics. Raclette originates from Switzerland, where in the Middle Ages they were melting cow’s cheese above ash. It’s a very typical winter dish, often eaten in the mountains before going skiing.
